Site Security, Back Up & Maintenance for 2019

 
Start planning for 2019 
 
Here are your top 3 priorities:
1. Get an SSL onto your site
2. Set up scheduled back ups
3. Monthly Site Maintenance
 
An SSL will encrypt your site and remove those nasty chrome alerts that your site is “not secure”. This will help you gain consumer confidence and protect your data.
 
Backups can be a lifesaver, if your site gets lost, hacked or you simply miss a renewal notice from your host, a back up can save you the cost of a rebuild or restoration.
 
Monthly Site Maintenance – Update your site map, submit to Google/Yahoo; for WordPress sites also update your plugins/WP edition and Theme (NEVER update your theme without first making a back up – theme updates can crash your design and blow up your home page if not done correctly).
 
Need help? 
  • SSL install – 30 mins for most sites ($50) plus cost of SSL ($70/year) Also great for SEO Results 
  • Full Back up – 45-60 mins ($75-$110) *scheduled off line back ups can be set up for WordPress sites add 20 mins and then they are automated monthly.
  • Monthly Maintenance – 15 mins ($25/monthly)
