Google™s research into local search behavior reveals that local searchers are poised to take action. According to their findings, “50% of consumers who conducted a local search on their smartphone visited a store within 1 day, and 34% who searched on computer/tablet did the same.” Your rankings in local searches will directly effect your bottom line and your in-store traffic level.

What do you need to do so you can get found?

• Make sure you have a mobile site so you can be found!
• Build and Authenticate your Google Plus Biz Page
• Check your Web Listings for consistency (same address/phone/etc on web page that lists your business)
• Survey your traffic, ask if the user found you on the web/smart phone before they came into your location.
